Whoops; didn't think about needing the whole "Universal translation" thing!

ICT is "Information and Communication Technology". So basically, if it has a microchip in it, it's considered part of ICT.

Even your washing machine

My washing machine doesn't communicate with me. I think it doesn't understand me.

Congrats dude.

Do banjos (banjoes?) have microchips in them?

We just call it IT (Information Technology) or IS (Information Systems) over here. Congrats on the job, I bet it would be a lot of fun to work with young kids on computers. My theory has always been they pick up things so quickly on the computer because they are fearless. I write software for a living, so I'm around computers all day and have always had them in my home. I've watched both my boys grow up on them and I rarely showed them how to do anything. They just do it. But you put an adult that's never used a computer in front of one and they are terrified they are going to break it, so they won't explore or figure things out on their own.

Sorry, I don't know what that has to do with guitars or your new job. Enjoy your new job!

buy a line-6 banjo...if they even exist...that will have microchips in it!

(knowing IT does this mean that you would be a pro at figuring out funky recording systems and editing?)

gotta be some musical benifit for studying something for 4 years
