Sorry for the bad analogy. I meant that he's top-notch, so good he makes it seem effortless. Unlike me and-well, anything lately ;)_

Don't beat yourself up. I'm sure the analogy makes sense to baseball fans. We're all ignorant about some things, and I'm ignorant by choice about ball sports. Deadly boring activities. For those of you who like them, I don't understand why, but enjoy them!
:D

Not to go too fer off topic, but yeah, I've enjoyed the game since I was a boy. Now my oldest son is into it, so it's something we have in common, and that's a good thing. Don't worry, though-he loves music, too! Okay-back on topic.

Yeah, Joe Pass is a 'world reknowned' jazz guitarist. Amazing player.
By the way, the Paco de LucÃa's brother, Pepe de LucÃa, is a flamenco singer (cantaor) and the Pepe's daugther is also a singer! Her name is Malú, she sings pop/melodic songs and also that here something is called as "new flamenco": flamenco with non-flamenco-traditional instruments and pop rhythms... more or less. You can hear some songs directly in her web.

PS. Sorry the links are in Spanish :(
Got my tickets (actually a Christmas present for my wife) for Boston!
Can't wait!
There are many that consider Paco to be the best guitarist in the world. Hard to make that call, but he is amazing.

Awesome slothrob! I got my brother tickets for Christmas also. The "misses" wouldn't let us go also 'cause we're seeing Tommy Emmanuel the same week in Monterey County. God forbid we see two shows the same week!!! I actually can't fault her... she has managed our finances for the last 13 years and we're doing well (i.e. we're not in debt. Obvioulsy not well enough to go see Paco also... but that's out of our hands :D ).
If we could only get a sitter to return our calls...then the wife and I could leave the house together too..dream dream dream :)
