Ok - totally random question, but where is GN actually located? I realize that some of you will write "online" or "virtually" or "on the web"... but I was seeing so many international figures, and the fact that the time is set to Greenwich Mean Time, that I think it must be actually located in the UK. Is this true?

The server is located in the US somewhere, as far as I know. The spiritual home is in China (where Paul Hackett lives) and the editorial and managerial engine room (Nick & dhodge) is in the North-Eastern US.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Thanks, I have my time set up, but it is based off GMT (GMT - 5 hours in my case).

GMT is the world's standard time. All other time zones are properly designated by their offset from GMT, which is more properly referred to as UT (Universal Time.)

I always thought of GN as being based in China as well. I remember manys years back, when I was here on a different screen name, there used to be a lot of talk about Paul Hackett being in China.
The location of the Server dosen't mean a whole lot though. A Newfoundland message board I'm on also, is actually on a Server in California.
