Not sure how I missed this thread first time round. :?
Sounds like you all had a great time. I think it's brilliant you guys get together to do this. Would love to have been there. I'm listening to the recordings Greg posted as I write. Awesome stuff guys.
Congrats to all. When's the UK tour?
8)
I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
It is a lot of fun and something I live for. I'm blessed to have friends that will come out and take part in these sorts of ventures and I hope that they enjoy themselves at least a fraction of the amount I enjoy their company and musicianship.
If we do a UK tour, I may have to try like the dickens (pardon the pun) to get one of my old friends to play bass. Anne, Greg and I played with him back in the early eighties and he was (and still is) my ideal of the perfect bassist. Currently he's a professor (you call them "lecturers," no?) of geology at the University of Manchester.
Oh, and to get Greg off the hook, the recordings were done by Fred Schane, a local singer/songwriter who also has very good chops with the sound board. In fact, Fred does the sound for the National Guitar Workshop concerts at their Connecticut campus during the summers.
Peace
Georgia is a little embarrassing because I went for a final note that was a little out of my range that late in the set. Or was it early in the set? Oh well, apart from that one note, I liked it.
I'll post more as I get around to uploading.
By the way, I cut moondance out of a cool three song combo, but I didn't have the singer's permission to post the other two.
Fantastic! I love how you all do Spooky. And Anne kicked major butt on the congas on that number.
Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.
Great recordings! 8) Very good job everyone! :D

Thanks for listening!

I don't know which do I prefer: The playing itself or the fun of playing! :D
Thank you very much for sharing the music!
PS. Gnease, thanks for the post in the "Hear here" forum.
:D I wish I could have been there! Sounds like a blast! :D
