My grandaughter Olivia has won a beauty contest! Just like in Monopoly! Only this one paid out $350. She also got 2 trophies and a tiara!

Isn't she beautiful? Well, I think so anyhow. :D

Yes, it's good that she doesn't look at all like Sgt. Fury.

Well you would, being ever so slightly biased....but as it happens, I agree with you, and obviously, so did the judges!
Yes, it's good that she doesn't look at all like Sgt. Fury.

This coming from Uncle Fester? Hmm, maybe we should run a look-alike competition.....

She's a cutie all right. :)

And I'd say she's a force to be reckoned with too. Look out lads when she grows up.... this lady's not to be messed around..

Cheers,

Chris

Oh, I've heard the Uncle Fester thing before. I've also been told I look like one of Jerry Springer's bouncers, or like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. None of the above would look good as a baby girl, I think. No more than Sgt. Fury.

Mrs. R thinks she's a real cutie, too!

I actually thought "Uncle Fester" back when Ric posted about solving his hair problems......but I was too polite to point it out until someone else did!

You know it was only meant in fun, Ric, no offence meant....

Demo etc pointed out a while back a certain resemblance between me and Keats - highly flattering, I thought, to be compared to one of the great romantic poets....although if I'd been around back then (whaddya mean, "weren't you?") I'd probably have written "Ode to a Fender Telecaster".....

Don't bother pointing out that Tele's weren't invented then - if I'd been around they would have been!
