Hi,

I know this terribly off subject but I have come to know many of you
here at GuitarNoise as good and caring people.

My family needs your good thoughts and prayers.
On Monday afternoon my 7 tear old grandson Shaun
was struck by a pick up truck while crossing the street with his scooter.

He suffered head and internal injuries.
Fortunately he was wearing a helmet or it could have
been far worse. As is he is in critical condition in the
Pediatric ICU at Albany Medical Center.
Albany NY about 35 miles from our home

He is under heavy sedation and the full extent of his injuries wil not be known for some time yet. He made it through the night with no further swelling to his brain and that is a good sign. He is on a ventilator to help him breath because of a bruised lung but his vital signs are good and he is fighting hard.

Please keep Shaun and the rest of us in your
thoughts and prayers as he has a long road ahead of
him.

Thank You
John

John,

Very sorry to hear about your grandson - a fine looking lad. I have 3 grandchildren - 8, 5 and 3, and can only imagine what you and your family is going through.

My best to you and especially your grandson.

Hoping for a quick recovery.

I never know what to say at times like this and can only imagine what you are feeling at this time. So all I can say is my thoughts are with you and your grandson.

Please let us know as he progresses.

John, another prayer just went up for you, for Shaun, for those taking care of him, and for your whole family.

John,

I can only imagine what you and your family are going through. You are all in my prayers, and I pray Shaun has a speedy recovery, and will have no lasting effects from this accident, but will be healed completely.

Thinking of you and your family.

I don't know what state I would be in if it happened to our four year old, I hate to think.

All the best

Matt

God bless you and your family, and may Shaun have a quick, and safe recovery.

Not sure from your thread but it seems like a hit-and-run, or did the guy stop after.

If it was, and you got his license plate, he can go to jail for that
