Sure, I'll jam with you! 8)

I'm not familiar with your software, but you can download Audacity for free if you want. It's what I use.

As far as copyrights, I'm not sure about that, but I don't think there would be a problem unless we decided to try to sell the jams, and believe me, nobody would want to pay for a jam I do!

I've done a few of these myself, so I'd be glad to try to help answer any questions you might have.

Magix music maker will do just fine. I have V.14 and I think it's great.

Okay - DAN T ill edit the first post i wrote and give you the first slot.
Nick, thanks for the advice on using Magix - if it is compatable with people who use audacity that is great because i know Magix relatively well (relatively meaning i dont know anything else about any other music software).

Dan i have PM'd you dan to find out how you want me to send the track to you, but cant find it in my sent messages, ill try again but let me know if it doesnt get to you.
cheers, Al

Al,

I haven't forgotten about this jam. Just finished up another jam we had in the works, and I'm going to be pretty busy this week, but should have time on the weekend to work on something.

Two spots still available. Anyone else want to give it a go? 8)

(maybe you should change the thread subjet Al?)

brilliant - thanks very much. ill PM you all my email address so you can email me your parts when your done.

the backing track can be found at the link in the first post in this thread - if you have trouble downloading it ill email you.

by the way - this is my first jam - so if i need to do anything else that i dont know about - could you just let me know - i think im just supposed to wait for your you to send me your parts so i can mix them and repost - is that right?

I have checked the chord progression of a verse and think it is the following:
C / F / C / F / C / F / Dm / G
What do you think/find ?

well i am not at the stage yet where i can figure out chords by ear - but i have got the book that the CD came with and the chords are in there - ill dig it out and post them either later tonight or tomorrow. it is definately in A minor though, as the book was called something like "improvising in A minor" :D
