Woke up with a rare Monday off and Cloudy skies outside.

This Jam track fit my mood perfectly:

http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9274946

Parts:

A- :04 - 1:04 (Slejhamer)

B- 1:04 - 2:08 (Kalle)

C- 2:08 - 3:40 (rparker)

D- 3:40 - 4:12 (Celt)

Anybody interested?

I'll take Part D as it is the shortest leaving other jammers more play time.

Nice track. I'm hearing a fretless bass line high up the neck. Unfortunately my time is getting limited; put me down for a slot, but feel free to bump me off if you need to free up space.

If it is still open, I'd like to have a go at it.

John, I'm sorry about missing this thread for 10 days. Perhaps we need to put put a subtle announcement in the guitar players section for more visibility? I dunno. I think I'll do that for the floyd-esque jam. I cannot get the melody line down and it's about 2 months past due. :x

Regardless, I am happy to join. I am initially a bit anxiety ridden about my part, but I'll figure out basically what I want to do and will be OK. Besides, I can always as Scrybe what she would do.

I feel badly about taking the biggest slot, though. Last one in gets the main even doesn't sound fair to you guys. If someone would rather have it, let me know within a day or so and I'll switch.

Taso, if you still did want to join in, I could split my portion with you, if celt approves. One would think that there's gotta be a spot in there somewhere that we can call a break. else, maybe we could play some sort of call and answer, or maybe some little phrases on the right channel supporting the bigger phrases on the left side. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm sure someone will steer me in the right direction.

Lemme know. :)

This is such a nice backing track to play too. I've recorded several tracks already to the whole thing. I just decided to come look and see what I had to play. It's got such a nice flow. Kudos to John for picking a nice one.

My part is in the mail. Ended up doing overdriven guitar instead of fretless bass. Not quite as smooth as I had hoped, but finished nevertheless!
