Hello,
This is something a little different than the usual jams.
I'm looking for somebody to add female vocals to a
song I wrote as a duet .
It's called A Hundred Times I sorry and goes like this:
A Hundred Times I'm Sorry
Him:
If I asked you to forgive me
One more time before you leave
Would you still pick up your bags and go
If I asked for the reason
Could we somehow still believe
Or is the truth the part that we don't want to know
Her:
A hundred times I'm sorry
Couldn't dry a million tears
A million tears can't wash away the pain
Of the thousand times you promised
You'd change and mend your ways
Then you go and hurt me once again
Him:
You say I broke my promises
One thousand time before
But that was not the man I am today
Her:
I know that you'll regret it
When I walk out that door
Him:
Could I'm sorry make you stay for one more day
Both:
A hundred times I'm sorry
Couldn't dry a million tears
A million tears can't wash away the pain
Her:
Of the thousand times you promised
You'd change and mend your ways
Both:
Then you go and hurt me once again
Bridge
Both:
We've both been down this road before
Why travel it again
Her:
We know it only ends a trail of tears
Both:
We may have had our moments
But the heartache always wins
Him:
Tell me have we wasted all these years
Both:
A hundred times I'm sorry
Couldn't dry a million tears
A million tears can't wash away the pain
Of the thousand times you promised
You'd change and mend your ways
Then you go and hurt me once again
I have recorded a rough demo as a solo and a
cleaner copy with just the male part that can be found

If there are any ladies out there who would like to
give this a shot and don't mind being heard along
with my attempted vocals in Eb PM me or responed in
this thread.
John
I was hoping Portia would reply to this......
I like what you are trying to do here John.
Any females out there?????????
Not saying Portia is the only one, but I think she has a killer voice for this song, IMO.
Way cool :!: "A million tears couldn't wash away the pain" ...now that's COOL 8) 8) You got a lot of soul my friend :D --the dog
Mike
Yes Portia was one who came to mind. I agree she does
have a killer voice. There are others also.
Thanks for the comments.
