I decided to post a backing track http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/teleplayer_music.htm . I did NOT create this track I found it at a site. But I thought I might want to learn a bit more about editing a finished track so if any one is interested give it a listen and let me know

Count me in :D :D
How many bars ( 12 or 24) I't a long BT so 24 would let us get our mo-jo working   I can email you a link to a lesson that nroberts put togeter on guitars 101, that should help, otherwise just ask if you get stuck, someone will come to your rescue  I use audacity myself (its free and works well) if you will figure out aprox. time slots and post them we can get this thing started :D :D put me down for the 3rd spot
your link did not work try http://www.soundclick.com/teleplayer
the dog
I read that lesson it was real helpful. Just started using Audacity myself when we recorded that first one, so I figured might as well give mixing up a full production a shot and see how it goes. When it quiets down here at work a bit I'll figure out the division and post it

If every one follows directions i sent , all you should have to do is go to "projerct" >" Imort audio"> and select the part you want to add to the mix ( the 128kbs solo) it should line up correctly :D :D If I can do this, any one can do it   have fun--the dog

I almost always have to chop the first few milliseconds off of the tracks people send me to make them lign up with the BT. It is kind of odd, but it is pretty much always the case. Could be OS/lib differences.
Okay here's how I broke it up:
:03-1:32 Teleplayer
1:33-2:24 Shibby
2:25-3:16 Dog
3 second space for the drums (cause I likes them)
3:19-end Alex
Maybe one of you guys that have done this before can look and let me know if this beaks down right
Thanks

I have one newbie question...hehe. What key should my scale be in? My first instinct is A after playing with it a few times but my ear SUCKS. Thanks for the help.
Shibby

You should probably see a doctor about that.
My part is done and sent in. Can't wait to hear the final product.
