BTW: For me, playing on this one seemed a lot like doing soundtrack work. The backing track feel encouraged me to lay back and concentrate more carefully on choices of notes and intervals. Anyone else?

The students are comming back at the end of this month, so us IT folks are running around with our heads chopped off. Pluss they added this new proximity card security system to the dorms and that has been my project...and it's comming to a head. Then I bought a new laptop and am in the process of getting it to the way I like it - running Linux with all the bells and wistles and such - and transfering my content to that computer so I can give my old one to my mom. I did jam last night some and hooked up the computer to see if it was going to work and it did just fine...so I should be able to do something with this now ... when I get another second of spare time ;)

Yes, me too. Very nice choice of a track. I am trying to practice out some jazzy stuff I came up with a little while ago, so I could play it real fast. It's not working....... so I might play it slow...... :oops: :oops: :(
