Hey,
Well its xmas coming up so im doing what any geetarist is doing, and looking for some nu gear.
So I figured I'd delve into the confusingly subtle world of compression pedals. So I really need your advice on which one is right for...for the dynamics I need.
Basically I'm a out n out blazing rockmetal lead guitarist, so I want which will really enhance some squealing, high attack high gain solos - Eddie Van Halen style.
I'd want something of reasonably good quality, seeing as I have some awsome stuff in my rig already I obviously dont wanna shove something mediocre in there. Im looking at no more than £80 though, bear in mind while its about $160 pedal tend to be somewhat cheaper in the US...and no my Dad will not fork out the money for a Keeley Compressor no matter how good it may be lol

Too bad, I so love the Vox Snake Charmer, guess it's going to be CS3 for you.

What about the MXR DynaComp? I've heard good things about it, and it's a decent price too.

MXR is a great compression pedal. I had mine modded by analogman.
check out his site. I bet you will get a better idea of what you want.

Yeah i was looking at a Dyna Comp, or rather its new cousin the Super Comp which is the same but with attack control...not sure about the Boss CS3 though, I just get the impression it'd be a bit cheap sounding
