K, here goes:

I'm going to buy a friend a guitar for his birthday, an acoustic. I have never really dealt with an acoustic, so I was wondering, who makes the best starter packs? I listed as many as I could find, on harmony central.

Thanks very much. I'm not putting "other" as a choice, because that would make things to complicated for me. Poll Ends in 5 days, that would be...Umm... Monday...Tuesday..Wednesday...Thursday..Friday..Friday I think.

Taso

Edit:
P.S. I made the poll once. And it didn't work. This time, I couldn't remember all the ones I had before :( .

Well, why go for a starter pack? All you need is a guitar, a tuner and a book, and you really don't need a pack for it. Get yourself a cheap accoustic with a solid top (example: Ibanez PF60, solid spruce, $150) a simple Yamaha/Korg tuner and a lesson book of your choice, and you're done for under $200.
