It has been VERY cold here on the central plains for a week now. About 30 F below normal. Night before it was 3 F. Last night 2 F. Suppose to be 1 F tonight. Daytime highs only in the mid to upper teens.

I have noticed my hygrometer read a low of 25% last night. :shock: Having the heat on this much is really cooking the moisture out of the air.
I've asked Santa for a humidifier for christmas. I am a bit concerned though. My guitar is a year old and I didn't have a humidifier on it last year.

Does anyone know how long it takes for low humidity to have an noticable effect on an acoustic?
