I thought I'd share a genuinely favorable experience I had with Guitar Center. I recently bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio from GC. The other day I got an email from Music123 and I discovered that they are now selling the same guitar for $270 less than what I paid! I just got back from GC and the manager happily gave me the difference. This is one time that comparing prices post-purchase actually worked in my favor.

yepper, GC or MF are great at meeting prices, i've saved hundreds of dollars over the years by comparison shopping online then printing out the page and taking it to MF
