Birthday is coming! Plus i just had tacos and i have GAS....

I went to the music shop yesterday to try out a MIM tele and a cream colored MIM fat strat. I was happy with them (though i only played clean), but i wasnt THAT impressed, honestly. As much as id love that little fender logo on my headstock, i have to be realistic. Obviously i cant try out an agile before i buy, but i know alot of you have, so how would you compare them? I'd probably be looking at one of the tele models, i'd love to know how one could compare to the fender model. Is it going to close enough to be worth saving a good $250 or is this truely a "You get what you pay for" situation?

Generally, from what I've heard and read, they compare favorably.

Best regards.

Mike,

I can't speak for the Agiles as I don't have one but I do have a regular MIM Strat and I really like it. I don't know what the fat strat is like but I assume they have a humbucker or something similar?

I only paid $350 for the MIM Strat.

Granted i was looking at them new, in a pricey store, may be the reason they are so high. But yes the fat strat has a humbucker in the bridge. The strat didnt seem to play much better than my squier, but i actually really like the feel of my squier. I just need it to be more reliable than my squier.

Not a problem; I remembered the thread and still had trouble finding it.

I just made it even more difficult. I played my first p-90 today and im in love! As of now im also considering an Epi Les Paul junior reissue or the LPJ-90. Anybody here use either of these? I know theyre fairly cheapo but quality is often hidden.
