so i just want to share the following with anyone who cares to read it.
tonight, at the ripe age of 23, i have purchased my first brand new car.
a 2006 Mazda 3 in a stunning copper red mica.
this is the 3rd in my line of cars owned, behind my 1993 Chevy Cavalier, that i learned to drive on, and my 1993 Chevy Camaro, that i am selling next week and will miss TONS. but, it became impractical, the heat stopped working, it leaked oil, and it needed some other parts. so i am selling it to a kid at my school who A) loves camaros and B) is able to repair all the issues, as he is learning to be an automechanic. it's basically a win win...i get rid of the car, he gets a guinea pig to learn things on. and it get my shiny new Mazda.
that's it, i know it's not guitar related, but i wanted to share.
rock on,
Brian
Can you fit a marshall stack in the trunk?
I'll only be down there (in the basement practicing) for a couple of minutes or so...

Are we talking transportation, or in-car entertainment here?
More success stories, please

I was in my 30 's before I ever purchased a new car ..
Drove bombs around for years , keep the services up to date and a log book , you will get a better price when you go to sell it if you keep records of the car , for future buyers .
Don't want to pi$$ on your parade right now but it's worth it in the long run trust me ..

Mazda does make great vehicles. I owned an RX-7 and loved it. Two seaters don't work well in a family setting though. :(

Congrats .. I bet it's a beaut!
I've never owned a new car . .. i always let someone else buy the depreciation on vehicles :) . . . but being in position to do it is what's important and definitely something to be proud of!
