I got bored last night and felt like I had to do some doodling. I was also feeling a little like playing guitar, so I put the two of them together. I took my Fender acoustic (complete with spanking new bone nut and saddle, brass bridge pins and fancy edgy black pickguard installed by yours truly), a silver pen, and my black pickguard isn't all that black anymore...

I think it looks pretty cool. But, I'm prolly gonna need to touch up after I play it hard. if it starts to chip, I will explore ways to preserve it somehow.

LOL, yeah that's pretty funky.

Those bridge pins look cool. ;)

I like it.

Great when someone personalizes their guitar.

Hey, another thing you might do is transfer the design into some sort of graphic program and then print it onto some sort of clear transfer plastic. It might be more durable.

that's a really good idea, I didn't think of it. it's a bit too late now, i cant get the guard off to do that. I am probably going to hit up the craft store in the near future, get some plastic sheeting to cover it to protect it.
