I was blown away by this cover. An acoustic cover of Sober by Tool. It's not metal but dark. The singer is pitch perfect. Check it out:

Nice song . . . yeh, it's dark . . . about someone who is going to eat your heart . . . pretty cool.
but I didn't get that from listening to her sing that song . . . I found it difficult to hear the words.
I got that from Sober by Tool . . . now that's a performance. (lyrics)
I agree with one of the comments on YouTube . . .
this is better sung with an attitude . . . not a just a pretty, pretty voice.
She could have just as well have been singing about a shoe sale at Macy's.
But yes, she does have a pretty voice . . . she just doesn't do this song justice . . . IMO.
But who knows? . . . maybe she could tear out my heart . . . but I'm not convinced.
