New band, check them out! The guy has an amazing voice, imho. And I really love this song, it's been stuck in my head. Folksy, Blind Willie McTell influenced vibe, with nice violins. No affiliation, just a really happy fan, I guess.

They recorded their EP in Bath, at the music school there. It was part of a project where a produced cut their record while 50-so students watched them recording it. Must have been an interesting and unique experience.

Thanks Scrybe, I really enjoyed it though it's not exactly my style, but that's okay, no problem. :D

If you know me at all, I went and checked all their other stuff. It is very good, or getting there. They're becoming better and getting tighter.

I don't know what style it it is, like Bluegrass meets Celtic meets Wagner, but they've got something unique happening. I would gladly attend their gigs, if nearby. 8)

it might be lyrically influenced by blind willie, but that's a completely different sound.

yeah, I get the difference in sound. but they got their name from him, and the lead singer cites him as a key influence, so who am I to argue? lol

thanks for checking them out guys, I just stumbled acoss them by accident, and I'm a sucker for anyone with an interesting unique voice, but I thought they might be of interest to a few GNers.
