I never really liked his music much but wouldn't mind a spectacular comeback. I'm sure he has enough stories for a blues album.

I thought Michael Jackson had some good music back in the day before he got weird(er).

I call those The Jackson 5, Off The Wall, and Thriller days.

Everything is 42..... again.
Stormy: it's 'good music' but not music I enjoy. Nothing to do with the man's skills and I actually respect him a lot as an artist, just ain't my style.
I have lots of opinions about said "artist" but not one word in 100 would pass the censor so I'll keep them to myself.

I wonder if Jackson guitars named one of it's models the "Dinky" after the illustrious Michael?

He's been a very successful musician. Let's keep the conversation about that and not bang on about whatever deviant practices he might have.
I used to like the Jackson 5 in their early bubblegum pop and huge Afro-perm days, and Jacko could have been great but it all got to him and he turned wierd. The photos in the papers last week showed him with a face that looked like it was melting. Yeesh.

I think Micheal is one heck of a dancer and performer.Lets see how his comeback fares in the new age music world.
By the way, 'Thriller' is still scary and unique...

+1.
He's gotta stop blaming his record company for weak sales of his more recent work. Fact is, he just hasn't done anything that matches the earlier stuff, some of which was truly great (imho). Now he's too preoccupied with trying to look like Diana Ross.
But if he ever worked up another groove like Billy Jean he'd have a huge comeback. Maybe.
