Hi all!

Been a while since I've posted, but I could use a little help with this.
I've, lately, bene interesting in picking up a pedal for my bass. I could use some feed-back on as to what are some cheap but still good quality pedals. I'm not looking for anything too specific.

To be direct, I just pretty much want a pedal.

New goal #1: Buy an amp.
New goal #2: Buy a 5-string.
New goal #3: Get better then OWA at music.

You just want a pedal to have something to step on periodically?

Aphex Bass Exciter is pretty cool. I have one; it performs just like the online demo. Actually better. But you'll end up leaving it on all the time rather than stepping on it to turn it on and off.

Aphex Punch Factory compressor is also popular.

How about a chorus pedal? Boss Bass Chorus is good but subtle.

Maybe a multi-effects pedal like the Zoom B2? Good price for all that it does.

Tech21 Sansamp Bass Driver is great for getting some different overdriven and tube-like tones, but not cheap.

Oh yeah, how about a simple overdrive pedal?

Toys ... :)

I have a Digitech BP-80 multipedal with a drum machine also.
I'm quite pleased with it cause I can change my sound to whatever I want(like making it sound like different fretless basses) and many many other things.
Check the original page at the link above, despite it's cheap design(mostly plastic) I believe it's great and the cost is low also, I bought it here in Greece for 142 euro.

Cheers,

Vangelis

Some of the Zoom Multi-FX boxes are designed for Bass, and some of them have expression pedals on them too - double whammy
