I wanted to get another thread going and this popped into my head. What kind of bridge do you play/prefer on your guitar? This is generally an electric question...

I'm gonna have to say string through, although I do own a guitar with an OFR and it sounds and plays sweet.

Tune-O-Matic. I like being able to rest my hand on them for palm muting and some fills.

If it moves in any way, shape or form - I hate it. :)

I like tune-o-matics because they're easy to work on, stay in tune, sound great, and life the strings of of the body a bit, so that there's more room to work without the pick hitting the pickguard, like it does on a tele or strat.

What do you mean by string-through bridge? Do you mean Tele-type bridge plate with strings threaded through the rear of the bridge plate (not through-body) or string-through body as Sid seems to interpret it (and is not really part of the bridge, but a virtual tail piece)?
