Well, EB and Mrs. Ric - those are pretty cool stories. :D

I had a similar thing happen to me back in high school.

I was cruisin' down Oak Park Ave. in Tinley Park in my way cool 67 Ranchero (289 4-speed), and I noticed that there
was a girl from school driving behind me. (I check my mirrors often)
She was one of the really pretty girls that you never think would ever talk to you. (I'll withhold her name)

Anyway, we were coming to a light - I went straight and she got in the left turn lane.
I had noticed that she was following me awfully close and had raced by a few cars to get behind me.
So, when she got next to me, I looked her way.
She had the arrow and as she went by, she was looking at me, directly into my eyes.
One of those frightening eye contact moments that make you feel sick to your stomach and all tingly and all :D

She was now ahead of me in the turn lane, though slowing and I was moving forward with a green light.
When I went by her, we looked at each other again.... I was going thru the intersection and I heard a terrible crash behind
me.
I looked in my mirrors to see that she had run into the car in front of her that had stopped while she was looking my way
as I drove by.

Perhaps I hypnotized her with my penetrating blue Scorpio eyes  LOL

(I'm 21 and 22 in these pics)

No happy ending though.
We never did hook up.
Oh well.

And I've never really told anyone about this before either lol.

Although I do like to brag that I went to high school with (and knew) THE Denise Richards :D
Yeah.

No cool story here. Mine is just me. :)

All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.

The real me...

Red headed and dangerous looking... that's still hot...

Perhaps a small rating adjustment from 3 car car pile-up to 2 car pile-up... but that's probably due partly to the admirers not being quite a sharp eyed as they once were. 8)

Just another guitar pic. But it's my first guitar and it's sitting on the verandah of our house (which I built myself) so it's a view that's kind of special to me.

Don't think I ever caused any traffic accidents with my looks. Maybe one or two with my driving... :) However, a very good looking woman who I went out with for a while once told me one of the reasons that she got interested was that she'd "seen the way that all the other women looked at you". Boy was that good for the confidence, or what! Definitely a quote that I can occasionally dust off and warm the ego with if it's feeling chilled or rusty...

Cheers,

Chris

Mine is the headstock on my 1983 Ibanez Artist. It's a great axe. I'm going to leave it to my son when I'm too old to play.

I've had three avatars since I've been here... the first was simply a glass of Guinness. The second was a picture of my "Guinness Guitar's Headstock". The third - and most recent - is Spongebob in the guise of Iron Maiden's Eddie. Why? Because it is crazy funny.

Thanks, Chris! I don't think I've ever been called "dangerous looking" before! I'll definitely take it as a compliment!

And, at my age, I'd be quite ecstatic if it were just a one car fender bender!!! :D

Oh definitely!

You might remember the description that was made about the 19th century poet Lord Byron by one of his lovers, Lady Caroline Lamb. (He was one of the prototypes for the rakish self indulgent wild-boy rock star style, and attracted quite a fan club). She called him:

"Mad, bad and dangerous to know" - irresistible in other words! :D

I don't think I can quite go so far as mad or bad in your case, but a hint of danger is far more intriguing than a bucket load of nice predictable dullness,

Well, I'm pretty fond of mine.
I drew it myself...
which is kinda cool I guess.

Drawn and that too yourself ?

That's a pretty nice job. You can be a drawing artist too.
