I was wondering if anyone was aware that he plays guitar, pretty darn good blues guitar actually, and has put out 2 CD's. I got a chance to listen to a bit of them, not bad, worth checking out. He's been playing since he was 13 so I hear.

If his playing is anything like his acting I'm gonna have to pass.

Yup. Het got fired some time ago in the beginning of a project for not accepting the daily deliverance of fresh caviar. But he kicks ass so I don't care about nothing like that.
WOW! Anyone knows why he died today according to wikipedia?!

Actually, his playing is much better than his acting heh, not to defend him at all but I'm sure a lot of musicians are a-holes.....he's been playing for over 40 years, and I saw an interview with him and he was very respectful of the old blues players, which always scores points with me.

'Cause it's wikipedia, and somewhere in the world there's always at least one bored idiot with an internet connection
I'll refrain from comment in the interest of keeping peace, but I'm shocked.
Ditto. This thread will be edited and/or locked shortly, unless someone has the sense to remove the posting himself -- I suspect not.

I've removed some posts, in the interests of public health & safety.
Some of the comments were getting into that grey area where defamation and libel live. Even if the thread hasn't got there yet, I'm putting on the brakes to stop it doing just that.
Play nice, please.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Very difficult to accept the strange lives of your superstars. I know I know.
Playing it nice as GB says after all.

There is an article in the new Guitar Player magazine about him. Its the one with the 40 underrated guitar players or something, i don't believe he is on that list but he does have a half page article about his playing. The magazine seems to give him a lot of credit and goes on to say that he has been playing since he was 13.
