Wow!
I'm probably the last to know about her - absolutely wonderful!
I see that Celt and Steinar have mentioned her in past posts....
I thought she deserved a bit more of the spotlight :D

I first saw her on the recent Clapton guitar DVD. she palyed with Jeff Beck. wow. great playing. gifted.
She is great! I wonder what goes through her head when she plays with Jeff Beck - "hey, I'm jammin' with grampa!"
Also check out Esperanza Spalding, another very young and very talented bass player.
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
Amazing girl. The solo in the Clapton's Crossroad is incredible. I have her first CD. Currently it is one of my favorites.
Esperanza Spalding is also a good bass player but perhaps she is more singer. Anyway, I also like her music but Tal Wilkenfeld is different.
(Mitch: I'd like jam with grampa like Jeff Beck!)
Mitch :D
Thankx for the linkx on Esperanza 8)
Bit like a modernized Ella.
Jazz musicians always look like they are having so much fun :D
And - I remembered that I never was able to get a PM thru to you after you sent me those pics of your bass.
I tried several times.... that was when there were all those problems here....
Anyway -
Thankx for the pics!
That is a BEAUTIFUL bass!
Love the arrowhead
