It's one step better than a "a whispering midget." But, this CD is a step in the right direction. Although with the reviews from his regular fans, I believe he will go back to singing "her body is a wonderland."
I like it too. Listened to it on Yahoo Music Engine about a week ago. I hope he continues with this style rather than the "pop" stuff.

Amen. I can't stand his voice. Next SRV...Maybe, I saw him on the Crossroad's guitar festival, and he sounded exactly like him. That's not intended to be thought of as a good thing though.
I gotta hear this new stuff, but really the voice is very important to me when I listen to music.
