I saw him back in the 80s in a bar in the Baltimore area just as he was beginning to get radio play. It was a great evening. I think the tickets are probably worth the money.

I also saw him in the 80's, toured with Pat Travers at that time. Don't how he is now, but he didn't dissapoint back then.

When Al Bundy uses "Bad To The Bone", as his athem theme, it's gotta be good.

I'd love to see him.
He's got just about the coolest voice in rock n roll...Bad to the Bone? One Bourbon, one scotch, one beer? <That song is just so cool, I love the way he says the stuff, "she said that don't befront me!" haha, I don't know, something about it. Great guitar and saxaphone too.

I'll see him when he comes around.

I saw him at a local casino last December. Tons of energy even if he is stretching his waist line to the limit. Great Show.

Oh, by the way...Gutfiddle, That is a combination of the "House rent blues" and one bourbon, one scotch, etc...recorded by the late great John Lee Hooker (the Boogieman) back in the 40's (altough he is NOT credited for the original writing). :D

Saw him at Summerfest in Milwaukee recently. Yeah, I'd get those $39 tickets.

I wanted to learn to play guitar really badly and I think that I have succeeded.

In the version of "House Rent Blues"/"One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer" that I usually hear on the radio, Lonesome George does pointedly mention picking up his collection of John Lee Hooker records when the landlady throws him out.

I'd like to see him live. I've been hearing him on the box since 1976. Fun stuff!

Legend has it that he was a minor league baseball player in the early '70s when he saw John Hammond perform and decided he wanted to learn to play guitar.

Get your slide and tune into Open G, you know you're gonna want to when you get back from the show! 8)
