Vic's telephone story was really funny, been there so many times. How about when your eating at a resturante and the waiter or waitress, always asks you how everything is , when your mouth is full of food. Can't they see your mouth is full?

About three years ago, I went into Canterbury (yeah, where the cathedral is) for some shopping. Me and the missus decide to eat in PizzaLand (kind of a poor mans Pizza Hut, if that's humanly possible).
We Q for 20 minutes before getting a table. When we get a table, its so wobbly our drinks go everywhere (Oh and the drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive....). We choose some food, so hungry that we are willing to forgive the little problems we have encountered so far....anyway to sum up
* waited 20 minutes for table
* waited another 20 minutes for a drink
* waited 45 minutes for pizza to turn up
* had to take it in turns to eat cold pizza - one of us holding down wobbly table, the other eating, then swapping roles...
* the food was disgusting.
Half way through eating, the waitress comes over
"Everything ok??"
"yeah fine!!!".
We Brits are not very good at complaining!
