Hi there. I've had my guitar for several years and played around with it a bit, but have never really sat down and concentrated on some serious instruction. I would like to put some time into this and do it right and was considering giving the eMedia software a try. I know nothing beats sitting down with a teacher and learning first-hand, but I though I would give this a try first at least to familiarize myself a bit. Does anyone have any experinece with this software?

I have an electric guitar, fender knock-off, with a small Marshall amp. Your views would be greatly appreciated.

I think the emedia software is great, not as good as a teacher, but a good second choice.

Somewhere on GN there's a review that I did on emedia software.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I have been using eMedia for about a month now. According to my wife and kids, I have improved alot. I think they were getting a little tired of hearing Horse With No Name.

One thing I really like about eMedia is every time you are introduced to something new (eg. chords, strumming pattern) you are then taught a song that uses what you just learned.

E-media was a great first step for me. I recommend it.

If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.
