Hey there
Im just wanting distortion on my mic when im singing, i was wondering if a guitar pedal would do the trick??
cheers
No! Different frequency response.. A guitar pedal is for guitar only. Sorry dude.
Get yourself a reverb or echo unit.
You can sing a guitar solo and then...
Anyone know were a website were i can buy those, ??
Thanks
You can run a microphone through a guitar amp on its overdrive channel though, and it sounds pretty sweet, like you're on an old time radio or something. Think of that part in "Holiday" by Green Day, if you're familiar with the song.
I am where my mind put me.
Try it and see if it sounds good. If it does, your answer is yes :)
Try these 2 for starters mate.
They both have vocals effects processors.
