All right I got few questions about this guy. I am big fan of him but since my friend told me that I should not try to copy him but to find my own voice strenght (which I find very good advice) I somehow started to listen to him a bit more and I found a few things I would like to ask you about him.
First of all could you point me to some articles about head/chest voice pls?
Secondly how is he singing that he doesn't have the vibrato effect. I really never heard that one in any Pearl Jam song.
Thirdly - try to listen to Do the Evolution or Lukin (both on video.google.com) what is he doing to get that kind of sound.
Last - if you listen to Life Wasted (video.google.com search for Pearl Jam - 1st clip). 0:17-0:18 his voice goes to something like screaming but seems like it was his voice color or any suggestions if he just screams or he does something with his throat to get that.
Might be hard to answer some of these. If so then sorry, just being curious.
