I recorded this using the voice recorder of my mp3 player and there are some skips in the recording
for some reason.
I hear potential. You'll need to work on your breathing techniques to get some power behind your voice and I heard a few flat notes here and there. But, I think if you work at it there's definite potential.

I agree. You have some pitch problems, but you can probably overcome those. With better breathing, your voice will be supported and have a better tone.
