I'm going to redo my Rondo lapsteel with new bridge, tuners and pickup. Would like to get everything from Guitarfetish, what would be your suggestions as to these parts, will the Grover style tuners fit without a lot of trouble, same for pickup and bridge. Thanks for your help!!
I didn't check the GFS site, but did other research.
Here's everything in pics concerning your Rondo lapsteel, with beautiful closeups:

Judging from what I know about the parts on the market, a stoptail bridge will fit, as long as you wrap around.
Single coil pickups will fit, but that mounting style into wood requires a block of foam underneath, seen w/Jackson & Ibanez. Possibly surgical tubing under the screws, or lastly, springs underneath will work. Metal springs alter the magnetic field and that is not seen as good.
I haven't seen this lapsteel in person, but the proportions look as if it requires a special tall pickup, see Rio Grande Tallboy. My daughter and I use them, and if you need tall, then you need a Tallboy. Not only are they the tallest, but sound is killer! I absolutely see that sound working here.

Oh heaven's, now I have just seen that they make my specially ordered p/u's for everybody. What's good for me, is 4 U.

The tuners are the trickiest, and it looks as if standard grover Rotomatics or the 'Lockers' will do the job. No offset screw. They must be from a 3 per side set, and an offest screw would not work - they would splinter your headstock.

I have tried in my way to be free.
It doesn't need specially tall pickups. I tried to put a Rio Grande pickup in mine and realized it would take just a little routing to make the baseplate fit. Put a GFS lipstick in it, and ended up putting the original back.

That's good to know Rico. And I spelled it sprecially, oh dear, so corrected. It is very dark here. Thanks, that's cool!

This bridge: http://store.guitarfetish.com/blsttawimost.html or this one: http://store.guitarfetish.com/lespajuwrinb1.html Thanks for all your help!
Judging by the original, it must be intonatable, and not fixed intonation either, like http://store.guitarfetish.com/blsttawimost.html therefore not this one either http://store.guitarfetish.com/lespajuwrinb.html nor this, per your link, and I see you want black...

I think this one: http://store.guitarfetish.com/chbastinwrbr.html and it also has the back and forth movement screws.
In black it's this http://store.guitarfetish.com/blbastinwrbr.html
Anybody who owns one of these correct me if I'm wrong. I just know the principles, and can research. :D

I designed and built a lapsteel that works well. I used the LP Jr. wrap around, as there is really no need for the fine intonation adjustments on a lapsteel -- the fixed compensation with the post adjustability (height and distance) does it all very well.
