Verse:
He's a modern day cowboy
comes with tattoos
got a guitar slung round
eats lunch at Whole Foods
Verse:
He's a modern day cowby
has his page at the space
vids on the tube
and he's got his own place
Verse:
Wanna be his modern day cowgirl
but i'm lacking in cool
I don't know the scene
got the wrong kinda shoes
Bridge or Chorus?:
Look past all the others
look for something that's real
put your ego in your holster
send your soul straight to my heart
I liked the verses. I got this image of this urban cowboy pretending to be something hes not, something definitely wrong with country music today. But the chorus you suggested fell apart for me. I think you should build of this theme of false image, and trying to fit in. Focus on more verses first, and see what connects them; build the chorus off the connection.
Good start!
I agree with Drunkrock. Lost you at the chorus. But I do like the song and the idea. Keep at it!
Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.
i think i agree with you two.
thought i had a big hit
now i see it just don't fit.
yes, i agree with you two.
you both have more sense
it's probably not correct in it's tense.
