Hello to all
Apologies for this being a bit later than usual - just got back in after being out most of the day. Highlight of the evening was a "songwriters in the round" show featuring four local songwriters.
One of the challenging aspects of this sort of performance (unless you're totally cool with having three other people sitting up on stage with you doing absolutely nothing while you're performing) is picking a song that's reasonably simple enough for the other songwriters to be able to pick up quickly, be it by having a simple chord structure (like a blues song or a repetitive three or four chord progression) or an easy "sing along" type of chorus.
This week, your task is to come up with a song that you can easily lead a group to either play along or sing along with. Topic is totally up to you.
