Hello to all

With your permission, let's try something a little different this week. You can write about any topic of your choice, but I'd you to try to work in a specific style of lyric lines. Each line will have two phrases, an "A" part and a "B" part if you will. The object is to make the "B" part of line one the "A" part of line two. Line two will obviously have a totally different "B" part, which will then become the "A" part of line three.

Picking an example of this off the top of my head (and it's a far from perfect one), you might think of "Mockingbird." But there are better examples, although at the moment my brain isn't registering any. So here's the essential idea, but please excuse how silly it is:
I woke up this morning and I got in my car
Yes I got in my car and drove straight to the bar
When I got to the bar I asked the bartender Steve
Hey bartender Steve do you remember me?
Do you remember me I was here last night?
Yes you were here last night and you started a fight...

and on and on...

Obviously, you don't have to repeat each section exactly. And you can break out of this pattern for your chorus. Or not, totally up to you.

As always, I look forward to reading and to listening to what you come up with.
