What happened immediately before?

A dry hot wind blowing noticeably through the neighborhood. The smell of medication and death at their backs two old men sitting on the porch of a convalescent home in wheel chairs
An SUV truck full of teenagers 7 (4 guys, 3 girls) just raced by with their “music†blasting. The latest pop music is to sample Internet connection sounds and dial-up connections from fax machines and yell out the binary codes….
......to the two old men on the porch, the “music just sounds like “noise†eeeerrr-pop---cracklel----jit-----shhhhhh---bee-baugh-----kkkkkk
The kids' all have shaved heads dyed a cobalt blue all the way down their faces, but the dye stops the jaw line making them look like blue headed mannequins.
What's about to happen?
One old man is shaking his head his long hair wild and uncombed with a permanent scowl on his face getting ready to complain that music and kids aren't what they used to be……growing long hair singing about freedom and rebellion. Then goes through a list of popular hair styles….and compliments himself on how his spandex are as comfortable today as when he was a teenager…..still ready to rebel or fight any system that messes with his medicare
Who is there?
2 old metal rockers---the singee hasn't heard hardly anything the other fellow said and goes into his own remising of wild life on the road…..and reminds the first singee BTW You aren't wearing spandex. You forgot to put on your pants again today…..and the first singer shrugs it off
Why is this happening?
