SSG10-Week9 Elephant (in the room)
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11332066
What is an elephant if not a wall; a dead-end, a last stand immovably tall?
Some say a pillar upholding faith; a faith to believe in so their world doesn't fall
God is the elephant; God is the elephant in the room
Some say not a pillar or wall; just a fan of mankind that's all
A comfort, a breeze; do whatever you please
God is the elephant; God is the elephant in the room
Chorus
God is the elephant in the room
I find it relevant; do you?
Blind are the wise; blind are the fools
God is the elephant in the room
God is the elephant in the room
solo
chorus
Hi James,
Good job on the assignment. You really have been amazingly good at sticking to your goal of regular writing, and each week we get to hear how persistence really does pay off. The music was enjoyable and the lyrics were intriguing too. Regardless of any listener's answer to your question on relevance - "God is the elephant in the room" is a great line. :)
Cheers,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for the listen and encouraging post :D
Happy New Year!
James
Very imaginative, as usual. The arrhythmic rhythms and slightly unharmonic accompaniment doesn't do it for me, but I like the rest of the music.

No problem there. I figure that's the price of pushing the boundaries and trying to grow as a songwriter....not everything is going to connect with everyone, but thanks for the willingness to give it a listen...and taking the time to post feedback
James
I absolutely love this song! :)
Hi MrEWorm,
Thanks for the listen and encouraging post! :D....You know, of course, you just made my day....Those words go straight to a songwriter's heart
