I feel as if I've been doing more songwriting today than in the past two weeks. (Oh wait I have. But I digress)  :)

Here's my hand at an elemental song- not just featuring, but pretty much starring and revolving around the elements. Tell me what you think.

---

Elemental Lullaby

Fire fire burning brightly
Burn my soul down to the core
Soothe me inside warm me out
I feel your flames and I want more

Air air rock me slow
Like I was held by mother's arms
When I don't feel safe anymore
You protect me from all harm

(Chorus)
When I feel trapped, panicked and blue
Think the floor will open and I'll fall through
Fearful pants and lonely sighs
Dissapear with this elemental lullaby

Water water enter here
I take you willingly inside
You hands of blue keep me calm
Make me feel like I don't have to hide

Earth earth give me steady life
When I'm disappearing I'll be found
Doesn't matter where or when
You make my feet set on the ground

(Chorus)

Earth, water, air and fire
Come and lift my spirit higher
Water, earth, fire and air
Take me high and hold me there

(Chorus)

---

Here's hoping for some good feedback!

I like it. Very good, straight to the point. Some nice melodic guitar would do that song justice.

The chorus could use a little bit of rewording, I think. But its still good.

I like it a lot!  It really does have that lullaby feeling to it.

(and this isn't really a crticism per se, but the first image that comes to my mind when you say 'fearful pants' is a cowering pair of blue jeans  ;D)

Some nice lines there, and very well constructed.
Kept me interested till the end.
