Topic starter

Hey I used to post here a long time ago, and I'm happy to see that now that my internet availibility has returned to me (I've been away for ages) that the SSG is still kickin!  Now that it has started over, are we revisiting all the old topics of SSG1?  Here is my contribution.  Don't laugh :)  I know the rhyme scheme changes at verse three but I figured since it stands alone and leads into the bridge it will sound okay...

(v1)
They know who I am,
It's a mad, mad world,
When the people all around me
Have it all figured out.

(v2)
My mind's a little blurry,
My conscience:  uncurled.
And I'm swimming down the drain
Because the bottom's falling out.

(chorus)
Ask someone who loves me
To tell you who I am.
Take the many answers
And make what sense you can.

(v3)
I know who I am,
And it's a sad, sad world,
When my self-proclaimed description
Is, at best, a contradiction.

(bridge)  (imagine sickening, raunchy, mutilated guitar riff here ::smile:: )
What's the point of it?  What's
The point of it?  What's the point
Of it?  What's the Point?

(chorus) x2

Stephen,

I like the bridge; cool rhythm.

Nice work.  Nothing in particular I would  change.

I like it... really like the lines:
My mind's a little blurry,
My conscience:  uncurled.

Can't really think of anything to add to it.
Would like to hear it :-)
