Well the break is over and as we move on to a new assignment I hope you've all rested your inspiration and are ready to go again.
You may not know that I'm on holiday in Australia this month and enjoying the warm sunshine and marvellous hospitality but it does mean my presence on the boards will be much reduced until after Christmas.
Without further ado here's this weeks assignment.

Take any one of your old songs and rewrite it from anybody else's perspective: the girlfriend, the Priest, the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker. Be sure to post the original song as well so everyone can compare the two. You may change any aspect of your old song, structure, meter, rhyme scheme, or keep it true to the original, as long as the point of view changes.

I have more mature lyrics and have progressed as a songwriter since these days, but as a starting point from what I am willing to share .... I hope this is okay for you folks. Next time, maybe, something more recent.
