Year Three, Week 27
Continuing on the collaboration theme explored in last week's topic, this week I want you to write a song but include the following lines (in any order):
Angels and demons
Hearts and minds
Poorest of the poor
Nation after nation
Let's see where this takes us.

IMHO "Angels and Demons" is the best of his four books so far....read them all, enjoyed them all, maybe in a future week an assignment based on the Da Vinci Code wouldn't be a bad idea....based on the hidden meanings? Just a thought....

I just looked at Vic's post in the games section which shows several artists, such as dylan and morisson, who had written lyrics about 'why the chicken crossed the road" and maybe that would be a fun assignment - a song about 'why the chicken crossed the road.' It certainly would produce some interesting and funny results.
That isn't a completely cheesy idea is it??

I don't think the idea itself is cheesy, but boy would it be tough to come up with lyrics that aren't. And it is precisely that challenge that would make it a great assignment! (Though don't be surprised if everyone starts cursing your existence if the idea gets used. :D )
When I was doing this week's assignment I was toying with the same idea:
Two cars in every driveway
A chicken in every pot
Look back across the highway
To see have far we got
But then common sense kicked in and I dropped it.
