Hi Everyone

I live in an urban area, part of a UK northern conurbation. As I drive through it it looks nothing special and in places looks very run down. However, on a cycle ride this morning I discovered places not five minutes from my house which are absolutely lovely. The trouble is I drive past them at 40 or 50 mph so hardly see them. Today I was moving considerably slower and so noticed more and this gave me an idea for this week's assignment.

For this week's assignment I'd like you to write a song along the theme of seeing things with new eyes, a fresh perspective etc. Think "I can see clearly now" as the type of thing I'm after.

I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Good writing

Bob

I can see see clearly now the rain has gone , the irony in that is it hasn't rained here for months ... I look at this weeks assignment and the skies open up ...

You have some very powerful happening there Bob

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

It's been raining here for the past 4 weeks or so, with a day or two of humidity in between.

Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?
