As always the SSG (and GuitarNoise generally) are always open and welcoming to new members so feel free to join in with this week's assignment. Which to keep you in suspense no longer is:
Week 17
This week I want you to pick a title of a book and write me the story behind the title. Don't tell the story of the book (as that's a future assignment I'm thinking about) but use the title to tell a completely different story. For example, A Tale of Two Cities could be about two people conducting a long distance love affair, Lord Of The Rings could be about a guy working in a jeweller's shop who watches the couples come in to his shop and wonders if one day he could be buying rings for a girl, The Cat in The Hat - well I'm struggling with that one.
Tell me the title of the book (and the author) and as usual any form, any style will do for this assignment.
