Week 26 "Forward"

Found this really hard....really hard...wrote it at college today....its about technology and future.......... :?

"Forward"

Flying on wings of robotic steel
We wander on through this life
With the future following too far ahead
We hold on the strands of time
The glory of the hand we've held
To move us on our way
Falls into the landscapes shadows
Of dreams that have slipped away

And here we are
Falling through this place
Pulling apart
The walls of yesterday

We focus on all that we need
Giving way to the gap
In the fragments of our whole belief
Our existence pulled apart
We take each day now separately
Clinging to the hope
That one day all of our dreams
Will save us from being alone
