Nice, honest anger. Good work.
If you're afraid of getting in trouble with the zero-tolerance PC folk you could work in the words "voodoo doll" somewhere. It would be kinda fitting since you're not actually pouring your anger out on the ex, but you're pouring it into the song.

This is some good stuff. It seems very real (as unfortunate as that might be for you). I've been told a lot to write what I know- I guess this song's a testament to that. As pierson said, comparing hard love to hard liquor was a nice description. I also really like how the words "Separately...finally" fit together- I can kind of hear a song in my head as I read them. Keep it up and rock on!
