I wasn't going to do one this week, but katreich's protest song got me riled.
Futility.
A tired crying girl.
Looses scope of the world.
Sheets twist beneath her hands,
No one understands.
Beneath heavens light,
This world is not quite right.
Unsatisfied with media's demons,
and the states hero's.
The cause has lost its shimmer
what does fear know?
The clash of teams.
Is communication so difficult?
To be known as mans apex.
Is humanity's insult.
A tired laughing girl.
Has a message for the world,
Hurls a bottle at the wall.
and yell's a wake up call.
Patrons gawk
Neighbors pound.
Indifference, denial.
No one likes the sound
of some unfriendly truth
the efforts futile,
the cause is doomed
Unsatisfied with media's demons,
and the states hero's.
The cause has lost its shimmer
what does fear know?
The clash of teams.
Is communication so difficult?
To be known as mans apex.
Is humanity's insult.
A tired bitter girl.
Gives up on the world.
She cleans the bottle off the floor,
and leaves for work.

Hi Saber!
I agree that your song has an Ani DiFranco feel to it.
Well wrote. :D
