Does this count? I use scarlet but that's about it
Roll back (Still not sure on title...)

Hunger rises deep within
Tugging at my guts again
I'm a kitten on the prowl
I can't ignore this desire
Frenzied soaked up in my soul
Welling up just welling up
From cocoon prepared to burst
From inside this blissful pond
Set to bubble foam and froth

And so I look to you
The golden reaper in my world
Scarlet sweet ya raze my world
So gummy sweet ya nourish me
Tell me how to douse this flame
Or set it free to spread forever

Don't ya say my dreams are fake
What you can't see I just can't hide
Undying passion wailing in my soul
When I ignore it sunders me
A pent up fox waiting for the perfect time to dash away
Just tell me all I want and more

And I will drag the knife
To my vague constructs of peace
Cut the straps that bind my limbs
Bleed my soul to you
Show my truest self for all to see
Invite invasion from their gaze
Break the boundaries between myself and selfless need

When I taste success, forget duress
When I cry for more and more
When I still fly with blistered wings
When I forget humility
Will you tear the envy from my soul
Rend the greed my conscience bore
Set me free again once more
Give yourself to me in full

Any comments?

Nice use of imagery, bit short on "colours" - although certain phrases tend to give a colourful image....got a nice flow to this, I'd be really interested as to how you see this musically? Slow or fast? Ballad or a rocker?

As it stands, it's a pretty good effort...but I can only hear it through my mind's ear, love to hear how the artist "sees" it....

Sorry about the mixed metaphors BTW....

:D :D :D
