Y9W6 Cu-cu-ckoo

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=9964005

==========Revised Version==========
Hello, my love, prison's not so bad in here
Just thinking of you
I've got my meds, three meals and a bed
Even Internet

Chorus
They call me cu-cu-ckoo
Maybe it's true, true, true
What can I do, do, do
When I know you want me too

They call me cu-cu-ckoo
But I'm no fo-fo-fool
Good news
I'm getting out real soon

V2
Slip on those high heels and red carpet dress
You stand out in a crowd
Every smile you flash is for me; no second guess
You always make me proud

chorus

Bridge
Love like ours knows no borders
Who has time to read restraining orders

V3
Better to love than to never loved at all
You're hip and on the scene
Don't be alarmed when the paparazzi bleed
You mean that much to me

chorus
Good news
I'm getting out real soon
Good news
I'm coming round for you

Throw on those high heels and bright red pinafore

You always make me proud

Spooky. Interesting look into the stalker mindset. Nice music, too.

And maybe it's simply the mindset, but who wears pinafores anymore, let alone knows what they are?

Looking forward to more.

Peace

And maybe it's simply the mindset, but who wears pinafores anymore, let alone knows what they are? I'm with David on the use of "Pinafore" unless you want the image of some one in high heels and an apron.. Then again..

You guys just don't understand my Amanda like I do    Just kidding....
Amanda Seyfried in a red pinafore dress in New York
DO brighten up winter wardrobes with splashes of screen siren red, like Amanda Seyfried, who chose this colour-popping pinafore dress for an appearance on Jay Leno. A sleek roll-neck and patent peep-toes completed her look.

OK
for alternatives..............

Throw on those high heels and red carpet gown
You stand out in a crowd
You are the brightest star in this tinsel town
You always make me proud

OR

Throw on those high heels and red carpet dress
You stand out in a crowd
Every smile you flash is for me; no second guess
You always make me proud

Feedback?

Thanks Dave and Peter for the listen and feedback :D

Ok I went with this verse and cleaned up the recording:

Slip on those high heels and red carpet dress
You stand out in a crowd
Every smile you flash is for me; no second guess
You always make me proud

Feedback?

James

Hi again, James

I liked both of the alternatives and was having a hard time choosing between the two of them. You probably are better off going with the one you chose because that does the job of throwing the attention back to the speaker, who definitely seems like the sort of person who can't make all that many sentences without some first person reference.

Peace

Thanks, Dave.

I went with those lines as it seemed to indicate more the delusional mindset of the singer....and like you said focused back on himself.

The subject sounds like one of my characters. I've been working on one song that has the refrain "I've got a homicidal heart". This might be your guys brother.
